GIRL EMPIRE CONFERENCE LOOKING FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURIAL WOMEN ATTENDEES
Girlmade hosts educational and networking event for young entrepreneurial-minded women
[Reno, Nev.] June 30, 2015– Girlmade, and World Learning Youth Leadership Program are looking for young women who are interested in participating in the 2015 Girl Empire Conference, a free, educational, leadership development and networking event held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the E.L. Cord School at the Nevada Museum of Art.
Young women who have a knack for creativity, leadership or have thought about commercializing an invention, idea and are interested in attending the free conference are encouraged to fill out the application here and submit with a letter of recommendation. Attendees will have the opportunity to gather insight from entrepreneurial leaders, learn about the startup scene and receive guidance on building female networks. They will learn how to generate and communicate entrepreneurial ideas, build confidence and present themselves in a business environment.
“They can expect to leave this workshop with a new set of global contacts in their personal network,” said Lauren Klein, CEO at Girlmade. “Additionally, they will learn the importance of how to approach creating a positive digital reputation. They can meet Hillary Schieve, the City of Reno Mayor who will be kicking off our workshop”
Members of the Girl Empire Conference will include young women from local high schools and 20 young ladies from Japan and South Korea who are participating in the World Learning Youth Leadership Program.
